1. Catch-22
2. Moby Dick
3. Sun Also Rise
4. Things Fall Apart
5. Stepford Wives
6. To Kill a Mockingbird
7. Notes from Underground
8. The Red Badge of Courage
9. Native Son
10. Invisible Man
11. Being There
12. Slaughterhouse-five
13. I am Legend

This seems like kind of a lofty goal, reading all these books- but it's an exercise. An exercise, you say? Walking Robot, how can that be an exercise when there's a complete lack of limb movement at all!

I'll tell you.

I am a huge procastinator. And really, I'm not even a really good one. While many of my kind have the attitude of 'I'll just do it tomorrow', my attitude is usually something allong the lines of 'I don't wanna do it!' Petulant child, much? Why yes, yes I am.

But this is an exercise in completing long term goals. I even have the schedule in which I shall read these books mapped out on stickynotes and marked in the books, but we wont' go into that. Suffice to say, I'm kinda geeky.
Onto other lofty goals
A friend of mine who we shall call "The Great White", recently proposed something to me. And what old Whitey proposed is this: Erradication of Anger. Now he didn't say it quite so Armageddon style, but the feeling is the same. It's been occuring to the both of us how much anger takes over our lives, and he wants to get rid of it. I, of course, tried to deny that anger existed. Then I tried to justify it. And then I road my bike for a very long time until I accepted what he said. I'm angry at the world, and maybe. Just maybe. It's time to let that go.
So that's my second goal. To be zen with the world. To, really, be zen with myself.
I feel like I need a third goal at this point. But, alas, I have not thought of one. Maybe next post.
